Happy Birthday Jose Rizal

Had a long day with my mom.
We went shopping with her as per her request.

On our way home, we took the Light Railway Transit Train to avoid the traffic.
I praise God for the train, it took us only 35 minutes from South to North.

As we were inside the train, I saw a quote by Jose Rizal posted by the wall of the train. His quote says:

Worthless is a life which is not devoted to a greater purpose.
It is like a stone wasted in the farm instead of being a part of an edifice.

This quote reminds me of the Bible verse regarding living a life that is devoted to God.

This is a faithful saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be able to devote themselves to doing what is moral. These things are excellent and rewarding for everyone.

Avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and vain. Warn a divisive person once, and then tell him a second time. Have nothing to do with him after that. That person is warped, wrong and is self-condemned. Our nation must learn to devote themselves to doing what is moral, so that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives.
(Titus 3:9-14)
