Moral Lessons of The Dark Knight Rises Movie

1. Give HOPE

When Jim Gordon asked Batman if the people should not know the hero who saved them, Batman replied to him:

A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know that the world hadn't ended.

To be a hero is easy, we just have to have a heart to give hope to someone else who needs it.

Proverbs 24:20 says that the evil man has no future, and the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

Whenever I see people in despair, my heart goes with them, because I know how it is to feel living without hope.

I praise God that He is alive!

Imagine life if He is not real, hopeless!
I praise God that there is hope!

And I thank God that He is  a God that has a life to give, He can create anything out of nothing! :)

I praise God he is alive!

Because with everything that I had been through, he turned my mourning into joyful dancing, something that I would not be able to do on my own strength and willpower.

For God, so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. (John 3:16-21)

Jesus said that He came here to seek and save the lost. (Luke 19:10)

As believers, the cry of our heart should be the very same cry of the heart of our Lord Savior, who came down from His Glorious throne to breathe life into these souls created on His very own image.

2. RISE!

In life, certain struggles seem difficult to overcome.

In the Dark Knight Rises Movie, Batman was able to conquer the immense height by climbing without a rope.

In life, we tend to be complacent when we think that there's still chances, which endangers us in becoming licentious to sin.

We become negligent in running the race with excellence because we have the tendency to think that there would be another chance, a next time.

In a way, we always procrastinate on surrendering ourselves totally to God and try to overcome the battle, on our own strength.

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 34:8)

He will accept you just the way you are -flaws and all.

You do not have to pretend you're holier than thou.

He is God after all, He knows everything already - even your very thoughts and feelings.

I praise God that He is omniscient to be able to comprehend even the most complex!

He loves you!

I could be uncertain of everything in the world, but one thing I am certain of, is that God is real. Jesus is real!

And I am a hundred percent sure that He loves you!

Whether you love him back or not, even if you change or not, He loves you because He loves you. Period!

You were the reason he came here on earth and gave up His life.
He endured everything in the Cross because He knows that the exchange of that is your relationship with Him. He loves you!

The rope signifies any other ideas that we have - that there would still be days that we could start "climbing" or start changing our old habits. In a way, we have to admit that it is because we never seriously focused on leaving our old lives. Hence the rope.

The thing is whether I believe or not that God is real, and whether or not I trust Jesus commandments, Truth will still be truth.

Whether I believe it or not, and even if we believe or not God, there is nothing that we can do to make Him love us more or less.
He loves us unconditionally whether I love him back or not.

I pray that you do not deprive yourself of the goodness and joy that you can get from a personal relationship with Him.

I know He is real, He loves you! unconditionally!
Whatever it is that your willpower could not do, He can do it!

Jesus loves you, and I challenge you to get to know Him.
Humble yourself under our sovereign God and Creator.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6-7)

Totally yielding to God, and totally focused on leaving our comfort zone pits, means no looking back in our old lives.

Because in reality, we certainly have no second chance after death.

After the jump, is death.

After death is the judgment. Either we get to go outside the prison of our lives or die.

Hell is just like what Bane said, he wouldn't let Batman die.
And in hell, There is no sleeping. It's 24/7 pain for eternity!

Our life is like that.
How we choose to live right now will determine where our eternity will be.

Set your goals on eternity.
It is a matter of eternal life and death.
Would you be able to escape the prison where you were held by the enemy?

The Great news is...

If you let go of any ropes, strings or anything else that you have been used to, like old habits, security blanket, there wouldn't be any need for you to cross your fingers and close your eyes as you jump and anxiously wait to see if you would be able to make it.

God has already provided us with a no hidden scheme, one-time signup, totally free rope once we let go of the old one. And the exciting news about it is: it's a hundred percent guaranteed rope to get you out of that deep pit.

You simply just have to accept the rope that God has already thrown the rope to you, and He had been waiting for you. ALL you need to do, is grab it.

Now it's a no-brainer choice!

God is gentle. He would never force you. The choice is all yours!
What's your choice?
It's your choice.
