Holiness and Faith

Holiness and Faith

In the pursuit of holiness, there would be times that we will be called to perform duties that appear unreasonable and absurd in an unbelieving world.

Obedience is the pathway to holiness.

A holy life is essential in an obedient life.
No one  can become holy without faith.

  • Faith is not only necessary to salvation, but also to live a life that is pleasing to God.
  • Faith enables us to claim the promises of God.

Faith enables us to obey the commands of God.

  • Faith enables us to obey when Obedience is costly.
  • Faith enables us to obey when Obedience seem unreasonable to the natural mind.

Obedience to the revealed will of God is often just as much a step of faith as claiming a promise of God.

Holiness is obedience to the will of God in whatever God directs.

Here I am I have come to do your will God- Hebrews 10:7

No one who is not prepared to obey God in every area of his life can pursue holiness.
Holiness calls us to obey God, even when that obedience is costly.
Holiness calls us to obey God, even when it requires deliberate sacrifice, even exposure to danger.
