A Broken Heart

Spiritual Brokenness.

What is God peeling off from your life?
What first comes to your head when you think of being broken?
What have you established between you and total surrender to God?
What do you want more than you trust God?
What do you love more than God?

A Broken Heart.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit - Psalm 34:18.
God will break us, modify us, and make us grow until we reach spiritual maturity.

No matter how long it uses up or how complicated the system could be, God will keep on breaking us and bring us to a place of integrity and spiritual maturity so that He could use us as his instrument in bringing others to wholeness and spiritual maturity. We can not attain spiritual maturity without suffering and pain, and we cannot engage in teaching without being willing to suffer even more power and pain. The joy set before us is the satisfaction of experiencing that God is with us. He is doing His oeuvre in us, and through us, there is no joy greater than knowing that God is pleased with us.

Maybe you are facing a point of brokenness, and it is as if the emotional pain is more than you can handle. Or maybe you are dealing with a series of disappointments. Instead of becoming fearful, which is what Satan wants to pull you away from God, ask God to reveal to you what He is up to.

God did not stop the thorn from Paul's life, but He helped him understand why He allowed it to remain. The Holy Spirit revealed a hint of pride in Paul's life, and it was given to humble him and cause him to rely only on Christ - 2 Corinthians 12:1-11.

In experiencing God's altar of brokenness, you will encounter spiritual knowledge, which was missing before the trial started.

Do not be surprised on the fiery ordeal which is to try you, as though something strange befell on you, but rejoice to the extent that you share in Christ's agony, so that when His glory is revealed, you may be overjoyed -1 Peter 4:12 -13.

God knows that soldiers are only created in a conflict. They are not developed in peaceful times. Warriors are highly educated in the midst of whizzing bullets and roaring cannonades.

God is developing the qualities of a soldier in us, by throwing us into the battle. We should use every endeavour to come off as winner.

Brokenness is a sign of the love of God for us. It shows His interest in our life. When He breaks our self-reliance, it is because He loves us. He knows that when we are left on our own, we could easily give in into pride and selfishness. Any discipline that we face in times of brokenness is God's way of preparing us for future ministry.

God uses brokenness to deepen our wisdom in at least three ways:
  1. We get a new understanding of His grace and provision.
  2. We get to develop a complete understanding of our self.
  3. Our compassion and concern for others' misery grows.
God has one thing in mind for brokenness. And that is spiritual victory. You will soon discover that Jesus can use our weakness and make it into glory, strength, hope and honor. Trust Jesus to change your life, because He is the one who can.

God is purifying and proving us. He will refine us as gold, until His face is reflected in us.

When we are not willing to endure hardness and allow suffering for the sake of truth, which God requires, it means that our wills are not conquered. It means that we did not consecrate ourselveswholly to God. They did not seek the greater choice which is to do His will.

Ministers and people need spirituality and true godliness. God will shake everything that can be shaken because God wants for everyone to repent and not perish but have eternal life- Hebrews 12:27. We will be brought into most trying positions. We must all be settled, rooted, and grounded in the truth, or our steps will inevitably slip.

If God comforts and nourishes the man with His presence, then it can withstand even though it is dark and difficult. For the night will soon pass away, and the true light shines forever.

God purifies His people, zealous of charitable works. God is our refiner and purifier until His face is fully reflected in us.

Then the prayer of Jesus will be answered in us: Sanctify them through your truth: your word is truth.
When the truth has sanctified our hearts and lives, we can glorify Him as partakers of His divine nature, having escaped all evil that is in the world, and we can contribute to God satisfactory service.

What is it that you trust more than you trust God?

Jacob's name means "the one who struggled with God".

1. Jacob blessed himself.
Jacob tried to support himself by buying God’s grace. Through guile, he oblige his older brother to trade his birthright, which is the blessing of a father meant for the eldest son. God cannot use a self-reliant person. This alone can explain the answer to the deviousness of our self-life. It is not a matter of reformation or of moral resolutions or even of our determination. It is a matter of the Holy Spirit possessing us to the full, ruling and governing our lives.

It was only when Jacob was broken, that he was blessed. It would be dangerous for God to bless an unbroken man. It is like giving a gun to a baby. God is mindful.
2. Jacob is broken.

Jacob’s furious brother threatened him with annihilation. It was during this brokenness that God met Jacob and wrestled with him until dawn. God dislocates Jacob’s hip to prove that Jacob was no match for God( Genesis 32:25).
Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength - 1 Corinthians 15:43.
It means liable and not weak but given. Just like Jacob, God strips us. Jacob was hopeless and crippled. Just like sheep, we are crippled to get us to the place where He can use us. It was when he was broken that he desperately held on to God.

I will not let you go unless you bless me - Genesis 32:26.

Until we hold on to God, we would not be fully receptive to God's direction and purpose for us. With his new direction and purpose, God gave Jacob a new name which is Israel, which means the one who struggled with God and has overcome.

He struggled with the angel and overcame him. Jacob wept and begged for his favor - Hosea 12:4.

Jacob surrendered his all to God, broken and repentant.

3. Jacob is blessed.

From lying God brought security to Jacob.
From striving, God brought rest.

Acts 11:26.
Genesis 32:26.
Genesis 32:29.
When God promised as wisdom. No scheme.

Hebrews 11:21.
Matthew 22:32.
Ask for forgiveness.
Make matters right.

Psalm 147:3.
2 Corinthians 4:7.
God brought Eve to Adam.

When people spend some time with you, do they say you're a Christian?
I honor my Father and you dishonor me - John 8:49.

Jesus, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body - Philippians 3:21.

When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory - Colossians 3:4.

Heaven and Earth

Be renewed from the spirit and let it present itself into your behavior as God accurately reproduces his character in you - Ephesians 4:22-24.

Many religion sell the old lie that we are sacred or can become gods. We are too far from becoming a god. That prideful invention is Satan’s oldest attraction. Satan deceived Eve in following his advice by telling her that she will become like God - Genesis 3:5.

This desire to be an icon shows up every time we try to control our environment, our future, and people around us. As creations, we will never be the creator. God does wants us to get godly but not to become a god. He wants us to take on His values, attitudes, and character.

God wants us to take on an entirely new way of life fashioned by Him. We were instructed, with respect to our previous way of life, to put off our former self, which is being demoralized by its corrupt desires. God wants us to be made new in the perspective of our minds and to build on the newfound self, created to be like God in perfect righteousness and holiness - Ephesians 4:22-24.

God’s ultimate goal for our life on Earth is not luxury, but character development. He wants us to grow up spiritually and become Christ-like. It does not mean becoming a clone. God created our uniqueness, so He certainly does not want to spoil it. Christ-likeness is all about transforming our character, not our personality.

Every time that we forget that character is one of God’s purposes for our life, we will be disappointed with our circumstances.

You may be wondering why you have such a hard time. An answer to that is life is supposed to be difficult because it is what enables you to develop. But the earth is not yet heaven.

Many Christians misunderstand the promise of Jesus of the abundant life to comfortable lifestyle, constant happiness, full understanding of our dreams, instant relief from problems through faith and devotion. These demand Christian life to be easy. These people want Heaven on Earth.

God is not a genie who only exists to serve you in your selfish pursuit of personal fulfillment. God is not our slave. If we fall for the idea that life is supposed to be easy, we either become severely disillusioned or stay in denial of reality.

Life is not about us. We live for God’s purposes, not the other way around. God does not allow Heaven on Earth because He has planned it for you in paradise. God gives us our life on earth to build and strengthen our soul for Heaven. God wants us to get the kind of character described in the Beatitudes of Jesus, which are to be poor in spirit, meek, starved for righteousness, merciful, pure in heart, peacemaker, and righteous - Matthew 5:1-12.

God wants us to produce the fruit of the Spirit such as love, joyfulness, peace, forbearance, benignity, goodness, fidelity, mildness, and self-control - Galatians 5:22-23.

He wants us to make every effort to add to our faith love and to love, cognition, and to knowledge, self-discipline, and to self-control, persistence, and to perseverance, godliness, and to godliness, shared warmheartedness, and to mutual affection, love, because possessing these qualities in increasing measure, will keep us from being poor and useless in our discernment of our Lord Jesus Christ - 2 Peter 1:5-8.

God wants us to love others by exhibiting patience, kindness, trust, humility. He wants us not to be rude, self-seeking, irritable. God doesn't want us to keep a record of complaints. God wants us to be disappointed with corruption, but happy with the truth. God wants us to put up with all things, trust in all things, hope for all things and endure all things. He wants us to love unfailingly - 1 Corinthians 13.

The Physiology of Exercise

The Physiology of Exercise

Lying Destroys Integrity. Did you ever get the feeling that you have been cheated?

Lying pervades everything. Once a person starts to lie, a liar will delude others to get his way.

Lying is certainly no different from stealing. More often than not it is used to achieve something that they didn’t have. It is so common in practice that it is commonly believed to be an appropriate strategy to get ahead. It is difficult to believe that friends will generate false statements with the desire to acquire something, but they do it all the time. This happens more often than most people realize. This is a sad reality.

Take the time to reflect on the damage that people make when they tell lies to recognize the tragic consequences of untrue statements. The importance of making false statements cannot be overemphasized. Deliberately conveying a false message is a lie, no matter how bizarre liars would want to think about it.

Lying may be considered a criminal activity when done in a business setting, even if it is believed to be quite apart from “real” problems.

It is clear that every lie is a crime. You shall not bear false witness.
These statements were founded because of the evil that lying causes.
Liars are rarely concerned with the well-being of others.
He who allows himself to say a lie once, finds it much easier to make it a second and third time, until it becomes habitual.

Lying is wrong regardless of its reason. Lying is similar but worse than cheating on taxes. Obviously liars and cheaters are unreliable. Their behavior is immoral. Whether it is lying about a colleague or deceiving a partner, it is still a lie.

Once they start lying, they are likely to do it again if given the opportunity. Unethical behavior can be found in all environments.

Lying and backstabbing are so dispersive that those who make it do not think twice about it. Instead, they blame others to justify their desires and weaknesses. Once someone is known to be dishonest, remember that this person will lie again whenever it profits them.

This is the same with cheating athletes. Athletes who cheat to win have actually convinced themselves that it is okay to win at all costs.

Lies progress in social precariousness, when people no longer accept the commandments that affect our behavior towards one another.

Deception is unparalleled in athletics and the workplace. Because cheating and lying in business practices are commonplace. Lying is often mistaken to be a right to do. But obviously, it is never appropriate to deceive anyone.

Taking credit for the work of others in order to gain influence is not leadership. It is unethical behavior and, it is con. Honesty was not necessarily the best practice, and lying was expected behavior in business. They believed that business is about all the most important.

While the famous saying says Honesty is the best policy, most people seem to think otherwise. Every thing seems to have a price.

Lying has become mandatory for many people. As liars, regardless of the moral aspects of lying, they believe that lying benefits the deceiver at the expense of the deceived. Knowing they are going to benefit, they deceive themselves into thinking their behavior is okay. But, of course, lying isn’t okay. It is perverse, deceptive, and unethical, carried out to get one’s way. It is marvellous that liars get caught.

Lying does make matters worse. It hurts your personal relationships. It hurts your relationships with friends and family. Lying causes you to have a load to bring with you. It makes you feel sick inside. You burn your connection with someone by lying.

Deceivers often internalize their deceptions to the extent that they begin to imagine the lie is true. This self-deception feeds at the liars’ integrity while aiding to maintain a sense of inner peace. The downside is that prevaricators know what they've done and will live with it for the rest of their lives.

Considering the various forms of workplace corruption that occur, discourtesy is at the lowest end of the workplace abuse steps. This is because rudeness and disrespect tend to fall short of forbidden behaviors such as racism and harassment. They want to believe that they are happy but often deep inside the opposition grows and spreads like gangrene.

Many people would agree that a friendly work environment with ethical employees is beneficial to everyone as well as the business itself compared to a dishonest environment. Businesses with credible employers, employees, and products are more productive than businesses driven by lying and cheating. A good reputation for honesty helps to turn potential customers into actual customers.

Individuals and businesses that cheat others demonstrate unjustified and immoral behaviors, where in a matter of time, employees would sue for rudeness and recover damages.

Lying is not a deviance or an infrequent practice. The culture of lying permeates life, from business organizations engaged in corrupt practices to friends making up stories. Lying is a culture of contempt and avarice. Lying has a pervasive effect on all facet of life, including the services of business organizations.

Strangely enough, this issue has received extraordinarily little attention and investigation. And yet, although telling the truth is essential, it is often brushed aside for an easier path.

Lying is clearly a form of intentional assault on another person. Lying has the potential to cause immeasurable damage in the deceived person. Such fraud can be coercive. It is difficult to think or toconclude that lying is acceptable.

It is not true that a liar lies without any privilege whenever he or she wants to do so. Lying, like criticizing, demeaning, or hectoring a person, is commonly done to give the client a sense of importance. By a lie, a man throws his honour aside and extinguishes his integrity as a man.

The usual motives of liars are insecurity, jealousy and greed. Liars have no credibility and are not citizens of integrity and righteousness. To use speech for the purpose of deception is a crime. A liar diminishes himself by lying, and the victim is clearly to his dignity, his integrity. Stated somewhat differently, a person without integrity is poor. But, bear in mind, that they are still dangerous.

Liars are dangerous. Ask anyone who has been knifed in the past or double-crossed, and that person will say that they are still puzzled how their friend could do such a thing. It is not so much what their friend did, but how their friend did it.

It is simply a silly matter how liars will distort facts to achieve something they want but haven’t earned. Their behavior is immoral and, they do not convey professionalism or a code of conduct, even though they may act as though they do. Liars have trouble with embracing organizations with a professional intent.

Legal professionals recognize the need for ethics and commitment to standards and professionalism. These people do not lie, steal or deceive others for personal profit. If you find yourself in the presence of someone who has lied about you, do not adhere to the circumstances.

Forgive and move beyond the circumstances. If we cling to the past, we close our future. Understandably, human beings need friends and a future. They want people they can trust.

Whatever a man sends out in word or deed, will return to him. Whatever he gives, he will receive. The excellent news is the terrible news can be turned into a delicious news, when you change your attitude.

When friends betray each other, someone always gets hurt, and the hurt does not heal easily.

The first step to turn things around is to forgive. We might forgive someone, but we do not forget the injurious act. Even the liar understands this philosophy, and the liar shares with those they deceived the desire not to be deceived. Even liars asserts on honesty from others. Honesty is part of one’s moral character. Honesty denotes integrity and truthfulness, which are contrary to lying and cheating.

A man throws away and annihilates his dignity as a man by a lie.

How do you deal with liars?

Journaling or simply write about what happened. This draws you to find peace of mind, which is like praying in its emotional expression. The human dimension of what it means to be human requires all forms of expression. The person looks for the kind of faith that you are worthy of continuing to enjoy life.

This is for those who have changed their lives on the backs of others to persuade them to reflect on the harm they have done. Not taking the time to assess the effects of your behavior is pathetically tedious if not self-destructive. Cutting corners on practice is never acceptable or appropriate. Spiritual life is not only what we think about, but what we do because of what we think.

Liars need help. They would often say that it is your problem and that they don’t have a problem. At worst they should seek the compassion of others to deal with the stress and reckless purpose of doing the erroneous thing. The spiritual side of wrong doers does not require processing events but facts and feelings.

Coming to terms with the sin of lying is not easy.

Misdeeds would become clear in time, but forgiving is often hopeless. Eventually what was done and how it was done becomes apparent to liars and to everyone else who lived with the chagrin of their lying, but this doesn’t fix things up.

Has your friend lied about you and would not own up?
Does your friend look weird whenever you cross paths?

It's never easy to get a person to own up to a lie. Use a little empathy and provide a path for the fabricator to save face.

If only everyone who lies would see the consequences and suffering that it causes, maybe they would take time before they lie. Maybe, those who have been hurt at such a massive amount could forgive you. Maybe they could forgive you for every filthy fact that you have said and did.

Death is indeed a cure for diseases of the flesh, but it cannot cure or preserve life. While there are many dimensions to it, the families who are hurting are not dead. They experience the liars’ greed and cruelty. Their emotions, finance, and emotions are all harmfully impacted. And yet, liars are indifferent to the treachery of their remarks and the effects on others.

Do not lie to one another - Colossians 3:5.

Liars hurt other human beings. Basically, all that we can do is to forgive even though it is difficult if not hard to do. Forgive and forget. Even if forgetting is not always easy to do.

Lying destroys Integrity. It is best to absolve the liars for destroying their own dignity. Just leave it behind you, no matter how difficult it is. Get on with your life since they are not worth the time wasted thinking about them.

The Eight Commandment, you should not bear false witness against your neighbor, is especially useful for the welfare of society. There is a reason why this precept is crucial.

It forbids false statement that is known to be untrue.
It forbids pronouncing one guilty without having heard his defense.
It forbids damage to a person’s identity by engaging a malicious lie.
God detests lying lips - Proverbs 12:22.
It forbids imputing faults to others unduly, exaggerating real faults and defects, or denying their admirable qualities or actions.
It makes known the secret faults of another without just cause. It is commonly done by imparting malicious gossip. You should not be a critic nor a whisperer among the people.

Spiritual Journey to Spirtual Awakening

Spiritual Journey to spiritual awakening

The Spiritual Journey to Spirtual Awakening

Anyone who chooses to surrender to God's will would find out whether His teaching comes from God - John 7:17.

Spiritual Enlightenment

To gain spiritual wisdom, we must follow first before any intellectual pursuit from spiritual books. If we need technical expertise, Intellectual curiosity could be our guide. But if we desire knowledge and expertise in the teachings of Jesus, we can only attain it through obedience.

Spiritual Journey

If spiritual things look dark and incomprehensible to you, it is evident that there is a sense of disobedience somewhere in your life. While Intellectual darkness is the result of ignorance, spiritual darkness is the result of disobedience. No one ever receives a message from God without being tested regarding it. We do not follow, and yet we wonder why we do not grow spiritually.

Jesus said that if you submit your gift to the Lord's table, and recall that somebody has something against you, leave your offering before the Lord's table, and reconcile with your neighbor and then come and offer your gift - Matthew 5:23-24. Jesus is saying that we should first be obedient by making things right, before we say another word to Him.

To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice - Proverbs 21:3.

We should not exist as a pretender before Him. He instructs us down to the very detail. The Spirit of God uncovers our ideas of self-justification and makes us sensible even to things that we never considered before.

When Jesus tells us something through His Word, we should not attempt to avoid it. If we do, we become a spiritual impostor. Examine the things you choose only to ignore, and where you have refused to be obedient, and you will understand why you are not growing spiritually. As Jesus said, we must first of all obey, even at the threat of being considered as overzealous, you must obey what God tells you.

Obedience Unlocks God's Power

Obedience unlocks God's Power
Obedience Unlocks God's Power

“Let the Spirit change your way of thinking.” (Ephesians 4:23 CEV)

Throughout the Bible, we see a significant principle illustrated repeatedly.
The Holy Spirit releases power only after the moment that an act of faith is taken.

When Joshua was faced with an impassible barrier, the floodwaters of the Jordan River receded after the leaders stepped into the rushing water in obedience and faith. Obedience unlocks God’s power.

God waits for you to act first. Do not wait to feel powerful or certain.

Move despite your weakness. Do the right thing despite your fears and feelings. This is how you collaborate with the Holy Spirit, and it is how your character develops.

Our choice to live for God and our efforts as redeemed Christians to bear fruits of faith are authorized by the Holy Spirit. Our attempts and even our commitment to develop spiritually is the work of the Holy Spirit working in us and through us. It is never something that we do apart from Him and His support. There is nothing that we need to do to add up to what Jesus has already done for us. Because of Jesus, God is already pleased with us as He is ever going to be. While our efforts has nothing to do with our salvation, it has a lot to do with our spiritual development. At least eight times in the New Testament we are told to “make every effort” in our progress toward becoming like Jesus.
Luke 13:24.
Romans 14:19.
Ephesians 4:3.
2 Timothy 2:15.
Hebrews 4:11.
Hebrews 12:14.
2 Peter 3:14.
We must let go of old ways of acting. Everything ... connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! -Ephesians 4:22.

We must change the way we think.
Let the Spirit change your way of thinking- Ephesians 4:23.
We are transformed by the renewing of our minds - Romans 12:2.

We must develop the habits of Jesus. Character is essentially the product of habits. It is how we habitually act.

Put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness -Ephesians 4:24.
God waits for us to move first.
What steps do you want to do to move you out despite your fears and feelings?

Ezra's Prayer

Ezra 9:5-15 after learning about the sins of the people, Ezra fell to his knees in prayer. His heartfelt prayer provides an excellent perspective on sin.

He recognized

1. That sin is serious,
2. That no one sins without affecting others,
3. That he was not blameless even if he didn't have a pagan partner,
4. That God's love had spared the land even when there was nothing that they did to be worthy of it.

In a world that sees sin as inconsequential, it is easy for us to view sin lightly, but we should consider sin as Ezra did. As what my discipler told me: do not minimize sin by calling it as weakness. Sin is sin.

Ezra's prayer confessed the sins of his people. Although he had not sinned the way his family had, he identified with consequences and desire that people would come to their senses and repent. Even when we sin in the worst possible way, we can go to God with prayers of repentance. Following ezra's prayer, the people confessed their sin to God, and asked for guidance in restoring their relationship with God.

True repentance is not mere lip service where it ends with words of confession. It must lead to proper behavior and a changed attitude. If we have sinned but are truly sorry, here are the steps that we should do.

1. Confess it to God,
2. ask for His forgiveness and,
3. receive His grace and mercy.
4. And as an act of thankfulness for our forgiveness, we should make the needed corrections.

Praise God for His faithfulness and love for me. I couldn't imagine any better life with a different god. Kindly pray for complete healing for me for my cervical vertigo. I was asked to take a cranial CT scan. But praise God that i'm still praying about it since it is kinda costly and because I know that it could give me radiation and it has detrimental effects. I pray that I wouldn't need it anymore since God has never let me down yet. But whatever His will is, I know that it is for my best. Please pray for me that God will give me wisdom, discernment, knowledge, skill and strength, to do and not do what He wants me to do. Please pray that I may be able to glorify Him, in everything and all things. May My will be always aligned to His that I will hate what He detests and that I will love Him with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.

Praise items and prayer requests?

Rejoice

Rejoice

Psalm 97:12.
All throughout the Bible, we are told to rejoice in the Lord always.

Rejoicing

Rejoicing does not only mean verbalizing with words, giving God praise.

Rejoicing also means brightening up, spinning around, and leaping for joy.

You rejoice with your countenance. Simply smiling is rejoicing. When times are tough, and are not going as planned, choose to smile and have a pleasant demeanor no matter what. Smile not because you feel like it, or because everything is perfect, but because you have faith. Smiling is a way of saying to God that you trust Him to be working all things out for your good. Choose to rejoice in the Lord! Smile and show everyone your trust is in the Lord. God's love goes way beyond our difficulty. Even when we don’t see a way, God is making a way for us. Ask God to fill you with His overflowing love, joy and peace as you surrender your life to Him.

Ang Panukala

This is the Tagalog/Filipino version of the Resolution from the Courageous Movie.

Dear God's Best

Trisha Claudine sebastian | dear gods best

Dear God’s Best,

We were never created to be alone, we thrive off of love and romance, so I think it would be reciprocally fit for us to find each other soonest.

To be honest, even if most guys would not accept this, I miss you as much as you want me. I tried to pretend just like one of those guys who wont admit this, but the truth is, in my heart, nothing could be more rewarding than to be your understanding and loving provider, your husband.

My plans and thought are all over. I ask God daily for advice and support. God is the only one who sees the large picture. I am just as lost as you are.

I know that there are wondrous things out there for us to learn together, God will show them to each of us in time. There is a reason why we are still not together. Apparently, It is because we haven’t met up to now. Or if we have, we have not until now acquire to know each other.

God has been dealing with me on issues that would only bring our relationship over. I struggle with the idea of being forgiven without reason, and I want to learn to be more receptive of grace. Until I am, please do not quit on me. Truthfully, the reason we are not together is because I have asked God to put off on our meeting until I am ready to be the person you deserved. I have some fears. Trust me, nothing is scarier for a guy than to believe that he will be the sentiment lovestruck one, while you look on in contempt. I don’t want to faint when we meet, and your heart will just melt at my smile. Do not be afraid, you can never ask excessively a terrific deal of God. Nothing is beyond His capability. The reason you desire these things is that God created these desires in you, specifically for me. And I am the only one who will be these things. You would not be satisfied with any other guy.

And trust me, I am far from impeccable. My heart suffers at the very idea that you would marry me. I think that I am undeserving. It is unfair that someone with a past like mine gets matched with the girl of my dreams. But the beauty of grace, is that it creates life, not fair.

I had been looking for you. I am still waiting for the perfect time that God will choose for us to meet. The fact that I know that you are out at that place doing the exact, simply strengthens me also.

Love is not a feeling or emotion but a decision. And I have already decided to love you unconditionally into eternity.

Admittedly, an attractive appearance is impressive, but appearances can be deceiving. Don’t worry about it. Just be yourself.

My eyes were created with you in mind, so you have an advantage over other women. Plus, if you make yourself look too appetizing, it is possible that you will attract more than just me. I do not want to have to stop the hounds off my lady.

Your flaws are what make you unique, and I can save you just as comfortable on my screensaver as any of those other ladies. And the prizewinning part is, then I will see the actual lady right by my side to keep me warm.

Best of luck with the cover snatching, you’ll need it. While there are a lot of lovely ladies out there, there is just one for me. I would never settle down for somebody I could stay with, and you shouldn’t either. Where is the joy in that? I am the ace you could never conceive of living without.

I’m the guy you might see at first, but just in that, obscure kind of way, but if you got to know me, you’d get a guy that yearns after God, and that is what will help you understand the way God has laid out for the both of us.

If I only saw the appeal from the world’s perspective, I’d be a pretty lonely single, wouldn’t I? Nothing is more beautiful than a beautiful soul. I could never hold off to be captivated by yours. I would catch on all the pain the world could throw at you, and you would be the paradise that would help me do it. I’ll be the first to acknowledge, I struggle with taking a passive role. It is difficult to be a leader without anyone to lead. It is hard to discern who to pursue. I guess my immense fear is accidentally getting over involved with someone who is not you. I had been hurt and rejected, and mostly because I had pursued. In fact, most of the stupid things that I have done were from hunting. Maybe I should learn to do less shooting and more tracking. I cannot just launch into a group and wish for a hit. God has directed me on how to fix my sights to see you. And you’ll be my trophy wife. I couldn’t help myself with that one. You should know that if you think I’d get wed for the interest of getting married, perhaps you were the one looking in the wrong places. Marriage is a decision for life, and that’s a choice I’d be heartbroken to give to anyone but you. That and I want my rib back. There is no one I’d rather make my life with. We’ll have our difficulties, but we would also have our victories, and there is no one else other than you whom I would rather share my experience with. I know that there’s no way I will become the man God wants me to be without you. I am becoming exhausted myself. It’s been years, and I have not kissed anyone. Trust me, I would rather be in your arms. I was not terribly alone, but I was as calm as. I am one of those who seems isolated in the crowd, because I just do not fit in. I am not of this world, and that is how you will be able to know who I am. I can not hold off till I can feel you as we see in our first New yr unitedly. It will be my happiest instance until the next time you smile.

Good night to you, my love! God’s day is His own, but I pray that He would consider our time not spent together as time lost. I will look for you until I die, but I hope God to make sure it does not take that long. Do not settle for Mr. Good Enough. Believe me, when we meet, he is going to look like the frog.

I do not know what you look like, but I know you will be the woman that God has formed from and for me. I am sure that you will exhibit integrity, faith, tenderness, and a pure heart, which are each an attraction on its own. Just one of these is worth waiting an infinity for. I have loved you as long as you take me, and for the same reason. Do not quit waiting for me. I am searching for you. When we meet at last, you can be confident God was the one who is the mastermind to carry out the best in both of us, to glorify Him in the greatest way attainable. God has been moving in both of our lives, and He has been moving us together. It is only a matter of time before that finally happens.

Forever Your God’s Best.

Ang Tula ko Para Sayo

Trisha Sebastian water color painting | Julius Sebastian

Naaawa ako
sa mga tao
Bagabag daw dahil
sa kung anu-ano

Merong malungkot dahil sa problema
Meron naman iniwan ng mahal niya.

Nagtataka sila
Nagtatanong paano lumigaya?

Bago pa umabot
na ako naman ang malungkot
Ito ang aking
mabibigay na payo

Bat di mo piliing maging maligaya?
Wala naman magagawa
sa pagbabago ng iba

Kung may magagawa tayo
Ito ay ating sariling pagbabago...

Hindi naman malulupig
tuwing iisipin natin
kaya't iyong baguhin
pagdamdam sa suliranin...

Ako ay may kakilala
na may solusyon sa problema...
Makikinig Siya
sa sasabihin mo sa kanya...

Lahat ng bagay
pamamahala niya...
Lahat ng sangkalikasan
ay nilikha niya

Siya ang gumawa
ng lahat ng bagay...
Kasama ang iyong buhay
At itong aking bahay.

Kung ika'y magpasya
isuko sakanya
ang yong buhay
Makaaasa ka
Ikaw ay kanyang
di iiwan

Araw gabi
Ika'y kanyang kakalingain
Bagamat may suliranin
Ikaw ay tiyak itoy iyong kakayanin

Basahin mo lang ang mga salita niya
Upang ikaw ay tunay na maliwanagan

Kausapin mo sya
At magtiwala sa kanya
Ikaw ay tiyak kong
magiging maligaya

Bakit mo ipinapanakaw sa iba
Ang iyong kaligayahan na dedma naman sila?

Bakit mo isisisi ang iyong kalungkutan
na ikaw naman ang pumiling magdusa?

Bakit mo pinipilit ang iba na magbago
di kaya ikaw ang kelangan matuto
kung ikaw ang malungkot
at nagmumukmok sa kuwarto?

Bakit di mo piliing magbago
Ikaw ang mauna
at ng sila ay sumunod
sa iyong inuutos

Huwag magalinlangan
Pagbabago ay iyong simulan

magbabago

Tigilan ang pagbunganga
Gawin muna ang buhay na kaaya-aya
Sarili mo nga di naniniwala
Pano mo pipiliting iba ay magtiwala?

Kaibigan
di ka pa ba nagsasawa
Habol ng habol sa mga sikat
Nakikipagsiksikan
Para malinya sa kanila

Ako may nanggaling na doon
banda rito gimik doon
Akala mo pag ika'y naloko

Kayat kahit ano pang sabihin mo
Dito na ako
Sa tunay at totoo

Malungkot man ako
Na ikaw ay wala rito
Nagtitiwala ako
Sa kanyang pagibig
Dadating din ang oras
 na ika'y makakapiling
bastat akoy nananalig
At ika'y laman ng aking dalangin

Christian Leadership

Christian leadership is leading people to where God wants them to be, with the use of God's methods relying on God's power.

God wants people to live in spiritual support and actions that displays his glory and honor his name. The role of religious leaders is to help people see God so that they will come to worship him in everything that they do.

Spiritual leading is not directing people but changing people.

As spiritual leaders, we must make it our goal to improve people than dictate plans. We can make people do what they want, but their hearts could still remain unchanged. If their hearts were not changed, we did not spiritually led them. Unchanged hearts mean we did not see them to where God wants them.

Everyone has a duty of leadership in relationships. There are characteristics that the spiritual leader should have in order to lead others to glorify God. Spiritual leaders should lead others to glorify God. The ultimate goal of religious leaders is for other people to glorify God. They think, visualize and perform godly to extend the true nature of God.

A Christian leader brings other people to glorify God when she loves both friend and enemy.

(Matthew 5:14-16) The way you think and function is so distinctive that when others see it, it gives reasonable evidence that there is a God and that God is a lovely, faithful Heavenly father. We are the light of the world. Let your light shine, that people may see your charitable works and give glory to our Father in heaven. When the truth of God's promises to take care of us grips our hearts, that it causes us to bring comfort, love and compassion for other people, the world would not be able to deny that the one who gives us hope and freedom must be true and fair. We can love our enemies by trusting in God and hoping in His Promises. When we trust God and hope in His promises, we obtain a relationship that is strong enough which moves us to bless and pray for our enemies. For in Christ Jesus, faith working through love.(Galatians 5:6) When we have strong faith in God's goodness, it obviously works itself out in love. When our hope is strong, we are freed from fears and cares that prevent us from exercising love.

A Christian Leader should have a strong faith in God's holiness and righteousness.

If not, he will be tempted to control circumstances and exploit people to secure his future. We experience this faith in God by meditating on His promise. We have heard of your faith in Jesus and your love for all the saints, because of the hope laid for you in heaven(Colossians 1:4, 5).

Faith comes from what is heard. What is heard comes by the preaching of Christ(Romans 10:17).
Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things out of your law (Psalm 119:18).

Faith in God is rooted in God's Word. It is when we hear God's Word that we are moved to trust him. This does not happen automatically. We need to pray that we will see the real significance of the Word of God.

A Christian leader should meditate on the Word of God and pray for spiritual enlightenment.

If not, his faith will become weak, and his love will fade that no one will be moved to glorify God. A person becomes willing to spend time with the Word of God and becomes susceptible to the Word of God, once they realize their helplessness. All genuine Christian leaders realized their misery. Jesus qualified the man who said that he is a sinner. Jesus said that he came not to call the righteous but sinners. Until we realize that we are the sick who needs a doctor, we will never be committed in reading the Word of God. It is while we read the holy promises for those who trust Him that our faith will grow strong, and our hope become strong. It is when our faith and trust is determined that all barriers to love are swept away.

It is when Christian leaders become compassionate people who are willing to risk their lives, even for their enemies, that people recognize and give glory to God. It is when they do not hold grudges and devote their energies to help others instead of seeking their own aggrandizement.

Christian leaders should be ahead of their people in Bible study and prayer.

A Successful Christian leadership is impossible without prolonged supplication and speculation on the Word of God. Christian leaders should start early in order to experience God before they meet anybody else.

  • Keep a record of insights and ideas as you see the Word and pray.
  • Read books about the Bible and prevailing prayer.
  • Take an average half-day retreat with a Bible and a notebook.
  • To be excellent Christian leaders, get away from people to be with God.

It is not easy to make time for prayer and Bible study, but it is necessary. Find time for prayer where you could be most sure of being undisturbed to wait upon God. Practice not preaching is reality. The hardest part is to maintain regular, prayerful Bible study. Satan will always find us something to do when we should be praying.

The first and foremost duty to which we should concentrate every day is to keep our soul delighted in the Lord. We should be most concerned on how our soul must be nourished, and not how much we must perform or enhance the Lord.

Christian leaders should take God's word and meditate on it.

It will surely soothe, encourage, warn, reprove, and inform our heart. It is during this time that our study will be brought into harmony with God. Ask God's blessing upon his precious word and begin to meditate on the word of God. Read the word of God to boost your own soul, and not for public teaching or preaching. It is after this that our soul will be led to confession, thanksgiving, intercession, or to supplication. It is in giving ourselves to meditation that we are turned almost immediately more or less into prayer. The food for our soul should be the focus of our meditation. Our soul will almost invariably be almost sensibly nourished and strengthened.

Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual Warfare

There is a holy war.

When we receive Jesus by faith, we welcome all spiritual blessings in the holy realm(Ephesians 1:3) but, this is also the beginning of a great controversy with Satan and his forces. We are engaged in an intense spiritual warfare.

God's enemy is Satan, and he actively seeks to oppose God, His purposes, and His family. Our enemy is Satan and a lot of hidden spiritual and planetary enemies whose power vastly exceeds our own. They are invisible, with a few exception but are real.

We are extremely underpowered without the weapons that God has provided for us. The best weapons to repel the attacks of Satan are the ones that God provided for us.

We are engaged in a tremendous inner struggle. You are called to use the full armor of God to be assured not to be defeated. Satan is the cause of our struggle with sin, including sins which appear human in origin.

But It is a relief to know that Satan’s end and utter destruction are certain, even if it is still in the future.

We have a tendency to quit and escape when the going gets tough. It is noteworthy to trust God in opportune times, but when we trust God even during the hard times, our limits are tested and our faith is exercised. In our struggles, we should always trust that God is on control and He will take care of us.

Because we know that God causes all things to work together for our benefit to them that loves Him, who are the called according to his purpose.

Our lives should be lived in the light of the big picture of the will of God. We should change our lives to the will of God. Submission is to give up our rights and our pursuit of self- interest.

The spiritual warfare is not about yielding but insisting.

We often feel tempted to give up on matters where we should proceed We often are too eager to accept where we should withdraw. We should learn to stand where we are commanded to stand, and follow where we are instructed to submit.

The angelic beings have considerable power. Do not underestimate his power. Do not underestimate the immensity of the spiritual struggle, and our need for spiritual enablement, to resist Satan’s attacks.

Do not underestimate the enemy, “who prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour”. He desires not only to destroy, but to destroy those who do not pick up the “whole armor of God.”

Satan carries his battles on various fronts. Satan seeks to protect unbelievers from the truth. He may use his demons to govern men.

Satan employs various strategies to fight and to overcome the Christian.

Paul speaks of the “schemes” (plural).

When Satan tempted our Lord, Satan gave up, for a moment. But Satan only left for a time, only until he could regroup.

“... until an opportune time” (Luke 4:13).

  • Satan did not only tempt Jesus with different lines of approach, but also purposed to pursue tempting Him, when an opportunity present itself.
  • Satan is an opportunist, with an almost infinite variety of “schemes.”
  • Satan’s argument is a disruptive push through intrigue, deception, and trickery.
  • Satan’s strategy for the current time (until the final conflict) is that of subversive activity. He is currently employing fraud and conspiracy to stumble the Christian.

There is a day when the holy war will increase where the dangers for believers will rise. These days are evil.

So be careful to live your life wisely, not foolishly. Make the most of every opportunity because the days are evil - Ephesians 5:15-16.

The evil day is the anticipated date when evil resistance will increase, which will lead to the second coming which is the absolute destruction of Satan and his hosts. When a wayward person comes, it will happen through Satan’s power, with all kinds of counterfeit power, signs, and wonders, with every kind of violent deception of those who have refused to love the law that would allow them to be saved.

The accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them time and night before our God, has been thrown down. They gained the victory over him. Love for their own lives didn’t make them reluctant to die.

The Christian soldier should be characterized by vigilance, so that he would not be caught off guard by Satan’s schemes, for him to stand in the final days of confrontation.

  • Be strong in the Lord and His irresistible power.
  • Put on God's full armor to be able to stand up to everything that the enemy will deliver your course. Stand firm with truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation.
  • Learn how to use them. You will need them throughout life.
  • God's Word is an indispensable weapon.
  • Pray always.
  • Be alert.
  • Keep on praying for all of God’s people.
  • Pray also for me, that whenever I talk, I'll know what to say and proclaim the mystery of the gospel fearlessly.

Are you poor in spirit?

Trisha Sebastian | Trisha Claudine Sebastian

Are you poor in spirit?

Jacob was when he realized his unworthiness of all the love and faithfulness God showed him (Genesis 32:10).

When God came to Moses with a mission to lead His people, He got angry at Moses not because of his humble self-opinion but of his lack of confidence in God's power. Exodus 3:11-4:10.

It is when a person is paralyzed by a sense of guilt, unworthiness, uselessness, that God assures His people of His presence. He asked Moses to look to Him to live.

The biblical answer to inability is not arrogance but Sovereign Grace.

God's fashion of freeing and mobilizing people is not to tell them that they are effective but to show His presence and power.
Do you feel helpless, spiritually bankrupt before God?
Do you feel morally tainted, personally unworthy before God?
Then you are blessed!

Until you realize that there would be no life, success or usefulness, without God's grace, you would never be blessed.

Everybody is poor in spirit.

But only those who know their inadequacies, guilt, failures, helplessness, unworthiness and emptiness are driven to the grace of God.

My friend,

There is no need for you to pretend that you are all sufficient. Do not be too hard on yourself. Your inadequacies are reasonable. God knows us. He created us. He never created us to be self-reliant. He wants us to rely on Him. He wants us to draw near to Him. You are blessed because you will be comforted. God promised to be with you.
So do not fear, for He is with you. Do not be dismayed. He will strengthen and help you. He will uphold you with His righteous right hand - Isaiah41:10.

Just remember His holiness and fully yield and you will be comforted.

  • Replace self-reliance with childlike God-reliance.
  • Replace self-trust with surrendered God-confidence.
  • Replace Self-determination with Sovereign Grace.
  • Replace your Self-esteem with the Magnificent Mercy for the Unworthy.

God blesses the poor who perceive their need for him - Matthew 5:3.

Good Enough is not Best Enough

Good is often the enemy of best.

When we settle for the good enough, we lose the opportunity to receive the best.
Wisdom is not just the ability to know the right choices, but also to determine the best ones.

Our choices, acceptable or not, will undoubtedly utilize our time, energy and attention.
Therefore, it is only necessary that we remain faithful stewards of these blessings by focusing it on the best and eliminating the rest.

At times, we get tempted to settle with what's decent enough. Unmet expectations then lead us to disappointment. What we do is we deny these desires and push it aside. You see we could not do that, it is impossible, because we are created to have these desires. God has a purpose for these desires. And until we satisfy these desires, we will never be at rest. We could pretend to have these desires gone by diverting it to other outlets. But until we fully understand its true purpose, we would never be fully content and will always be disappointed.

This is not how it is supposed to be. You see, these desires are from God. He wants to bless us. God wants to give us the best. But until, He sees that we could handle it and not the other way around, He would withhold it.

And that is because He loves us. He is holy. He only wants to bless us. And if we could not control our blessings, then these blessings will curse us instead of bless us.

God can see everything. He knows that these blessings could harm us if He gives it to us too early. And so, no matter how much He is so excited to bless us, He patiently waits for us to learn. He persistently trains and discipline us.

God is the fulfillment of our desire.

Until we realize that, we would always be dependent on things, events or people to fill our desires, which is not supposed to be. You see, God wants us to long for him and desire for Him. And that is what he made our longings for. Until we realize that it is only God who could fully satisfy us, we would always feel abandoned or lacking. And that is because nothing else and no one else can satisfy this longing other than God.

God's best is God himself.

Until we realize that, we would always end up getting hurt and hurting others. And God would never want to hurt us. So no matter how much he would want to give to us our heart's desires, he would always choose what is best for us, and that is for us to understand, develop, grow, evolve and change until we are fully satisfied with Him and everything else would seem to us as second best, that we could easily let go of it.

When we meet our God's best, we would understand why it did not work with the rest. And you would be extremely grateful to God for being holy, that he took the things that we feel so cherished, so that we could obtain the things which are truly precious.

Our God's best is not a character-developing tool that would mold us into the person that we are supposed to be. We could be assured of this, because we would never meet our God's best until we are molded already into the best fit for our God's best.

Our God's best is not a charity event, that will require us to love the unlovable. God never intended to make our life miserable but joyful. God is the author of beauty and not haggardness.

Anything less than God’s best is evil.

The enemy will not trick us into buying an ugly wrapped gift. The enemy deceives us with the close enough gifts. And settling down with something that is not God's plan for us, is causing us to stumble and sin because of unnecessary compromise.

The best is all we need because the rest is nothing.

Think like the first to be just like the best.

Because of his glory and excellence, He gave us gratifying and valuable confidence. These are the promises that allow us to partake in his divine nature and break free from the world's misery caused by human desires - 2 Peter 1:4.

Pursue Love

LOVE

What is Love?

Love is not that we loved God, but He loved us and sent Jesus, His only Son, as an atoning sacrifice for our sins - 1 John 4:10.

True love is the love of God for us.
True Love is an unequivocal commitment toward an imperfect person for the individual's highest welfare, which often needs sacrifice.

Pursue love - 1Corinthians 14:1.

Why Pursue Love?

  • Love is the Greatest Commandment of Jesus.
  1. Love God with all our heart, with all our soul, mind and with all our strength - Mark 12:30.
  2. Love your neighbor as yourself - Mark 12:31.
These two commandments go hand in hand. Loving God goes hand in hand with loving our neighbor. If a person does not love people that he could see, how could he love God who he could not see? - 1John 4:20. Jesus asks us to love others. If we love Jesus, we will obey Him. Do we love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength? Do you obey Him by loving others?
  • Loving is the greatest proof of Christ-likeness.
To succeed in Christ-likeness is to grow in love. Pursue love to continue being transformed into Christ-likeness. If love is an essential, then it is an option. We need to choose to love. Love is not just something that we feel. It is beyond feelings but is an action word.

Do not follow your feelings, but your Faith.
Feelings will help you to defeat, but Faith will lead you to beat.

If you know what you should do, but did not do it just because you do not feel like it, you are a hypocrite. Obeying means loving someone even if we do not feel loving them. (Romans 13:8,10)

People will see that we love Jesus because we love one another and not by our presence in church or the number of our memorized scriptures.  Everyone will know that we are disciples of Jesus, if we love one another - John 13:35.

Loving the unlovable is the greatest form of love. We should love despite imperfections and love imperfect people.

We should owe nothing to anyone except love. The proof of our Christ-likeness is our concern for the welfare of others.

Love our enemies. We need to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, pray for those who mistreat us - Luke 6:27- 28.

If we only love those who love us, what makes us different from sinners who love the people who love them? - Luke 6:32.
  • Love is the Greatest Value. 1Corinthians 13:13.
Pursue love because that is the only thing that will last. Whatever we do or have does not matter if we do not have a love - 1Corinthians 13:1-3.

What is the direction of your life?
Are you pursuing Love?
Pursue love by accepting Jesus.

I pray that we always remember God's love for us and be a source of His unconditional love to others.Let love be our highest goal! - 1 Corinthians 4:1.

Counterfeit God's best

Ladies, while we should do what we can do to meet a person of value, we should not persist in initiating and pursuing. Instead, we should exercise compassion, build friendships, pray and maintain appropriate boundaries.

Man is given the priviledge to do the asking.
It is only necessary that we should check the way we relate with friends from the opposite sex.

If there are people who think that we are dating someone from the opposite sex, then we are probably acting as if we are.

If a guy has not pursued you despite all the prodding that he gets, there is a reason. He could either be shy or uninterested. We should not deny guys the privilege of having joy in being forthright about their intentions for us. When we give freely to a man a lot of incentives from an intimate relationship without requiring any liability from them, we deny them this priviledge.

Back off from spending so much time with a friend from the opposite sex to whom you do not consider to be God's best for you, or who does not have any intentions of putting your connection to the next level. Simply because our time on earth is just short, and we should spend it with people whom God has really intended for us, the way God has planned for us.

Giving a guy less attention, could stir him to move honorably towards you.
If he doesn't, consider yourself saved from any more wasted time. His response just reveals that he is not interested in moving your relationship toward marriage.

Again, initiating out of despair would just cause the man to go away from us since they are created to be hunters and not the other way around.

Indulging in an intimate friendship with a person not pursuing you is accepting a cheap imitation of love. Spending all your time with a man who will never marry you could cause you to miss God's best for you.

If you find yourself in such a relationship with the opposite sex, ask God for wisdom and discernment.

When it comes to the relationship with the opposite sex lacking clarity, the buddy system is a lousy idea.

We should not deceive others by implying a role meant for married people through impure intimacy, when it does not exist. (I Thessalonians 4:1-8)

Defrauding includes inappropriate touching as well as emotional intimacy.

Love does not harm others. Romans 13:8-14.

We should favor weaker people above ourselves by valuing and encouraging that which is advantageous in the souls of others.

  1. Decide not to post any stumbling block in the course of others - Romans 14:13.
  2. Accept other people's weakness and be concerned for their well-being rather than indulge ourselves - Romans 15:1.
  3. Exert every effort to do only what leads to mutual edification.
  4. Build others up - Romans 15:2.
It is extremely difficult and rare to honor these principles in the context of an intimate and close relationship with the opposite sex.

Intimate friendships between opposite sex almost always cause confusion and frustration to at least one of the parties involved. Intimate friendships tend to require considerable time talking and hanging out one-on-one. Intimate relationships require a thorough knowledge of the other person’s identity, desires, and hopes. This involves sharing of various aspects of each other’s daily lives and routines. This involves much of the type of intimacy and companionship meant for marriage.

Despite any serious talks to Define The Relationship, at least one person in the relationship unavoidably involves a mixed message. No matter how clearly you have defined what is happening as “just friends,” your actions always says that you enjoy being with each other and that you love interacting with each other in a way that suggests marriage.
Whether one of you began the “friendship” with romantic feelings or had these feelings developed, one of you could depend on to the friendship with the hope of getting something more despite complete words that you want nothing beyond friendship. Continuing with the union is seeking and allowing opportunistic advantage of the vulnerable party.

There is a time in life to avoid all the tension and people who make it.
Surround yourself with people who bless you.
Forget the decayed and focus on the good.
Bless the people who treat you well and pray for the ones who don’t.
Life is too short to be anything but happy.

It is always the FALSE that hurts you.
Fanciful desires.
Fictitious fears.
Distorted values.
Delusive ideas.
Misleading relationships.
Flee from evil to be free of pain.
Truth will give you joy.
Truth is liberating.

Dare mighty things to win glorious triumphs.

At the end, it is not about the rules on dating, since there is someone else who is much more powerful than anything else. Someone else who is the author of Love. He created all things. Everything comes from Him.

The best thing that we could do is to seek the giver and not the blessings. After all, everything else is just a bonus if we are intimate with Him. Let us give Him all the attention that is due to Him, simply by appreciating everything that He has given and blessed us and loving everything that He has created for us.

To have something that you never had, you have to do something that you never did.

The will of God will never see you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

When God takes something from your grasp, He’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.

Have a blessed day beautiful Ladies!

We’re gonna dance dance dance
In the freedom we know
We’re gonna dance dance dance
In the freedom we know
We’re gonna dance dance dance
In the freedom we know
Because the freedom we know is gonna last forever

The world turns in all of it's ways
But I’m soul set on a holy name
And when all earth is said and done
Still I will praise Him

There’s no end to the love that He gives
And now broken dreams have life again
In the hope of the risen King
So let us praise Him

A mystery unthinkable
That He took the fall just to save my soul
Now to love is the life I know
On and on and on we’ll be singin’

Soul set free in the One I love
Oh come on come on
And let the whole earth sing
In the freedom we know
So come on come on and praise Him

Come come all the lost and the found
Let us rise up with a holy sound
All the earth unified as one
Just to praise Him

In full view with nothing to hide
Like a city on a hill we’re gonna shine
In the light of Your freedom
Let us praise Him

We’re gonna dance dance dance
In the freedom we know
We’re gonna dance dance dance
In the freedom we know
We’re gonna dance dance dance
In the freedom we know
Because the freedom we know is gonna last forever

I'll just Worship you by Tony Sutherland

When the night is falling on me
And the dread is pounding on my heart
When sorrow chases me
So deep into the dark
When the fear is growing in me
And the pain is more than I can bear
When the silence echoes out
And I can’t see You there
You’re still God and You’re still Good

I’ll just worship You
I’ll just worship You
I’ll just worship You
That’s what these tears were made for
I’ll just worship You
I’ll trust everything You do
I’ll just lift my hands and worship

VERSE 2
When the clouds are swirling round me
And they try to cover up the light
When the rain comes pouring down
And there’s no hope in sight
When the storms of life are raging
And my faith is tossing in the wind
Then I come running
to Your loving arms again
You are God and You are Good

You are faithful always

Choose to make changes and not excuses.

Trisha Claudine Sebastian Kristina Lauren Julius Sebastian in Mesa

Choose to make Changes not Excuses

Live by choice and not by chance.

Choose to make changes and not excuses.

Be motivated, not manipulated.

Work to transcend, not compete.

Do not listen to the jumbled opinions of everyone else.

No one else could supersede our ability to make our own choice.

This is the way to encourage people!
This is how you can turn into the best version of YOU!

Be true and faithful to yourself.

Find the courage to continue being your beautiful self.
Embrace that extraordinary person inside of you that has ideas, strengths and beauty like no one else.
Be the person you see yourself.
Be the best version of you – on your terms.

Be true to yourself.

If you cannot love something, take yourself out of it.

Live as a compassionate and nonjudgmental human being.
Before we could learn to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes, we have to be confident in our own shoes first.

Stick with what you love.

Take part in something you believe in.

Find passion in your work.

Engage yourself in something you strongly believe in.
This will bring joy and add meaning into your life.
It is extremely difficult not to be inspired by someone who is passionate about something.

Express your love.

Passion is something you are willing to illustrate if you want to encourage others.
A simple expression of your passion could serve as an inspiration.
Simply expressing what you are passionate about could inspire others to do the same.
Enthusiasm is contagious.
It stirs interest in others.
It makes people wonder why you love what you love so much.
It creates something that moves people to take the time to see what moves you.

Excel at what you do.

People see your actions more than they hear what you say.
Be someone worth emulating.
Most people are inspired by GREAT people.
The thing that all influential people have in common is EXCELLENCE in what they do.
If you are going to do something, do it right.
Excel at your work, as well as in your hobbies.
Develop a reputation for consistent excellence, for yourself.

Focus on your character.

Be more concerned building your character than building your reputation.
Character is what you truly are.
Reputation is just what others temporarily think you are.
A genuinely irreproachable being always shines and inspires in the long run.

Care about people.

People do not care how much a person knows until they know how much that person cares.
Challenge people to do their best.
Encourage people to be what they know they could be.
If people know that you expect excellent things from them, they will often try to go to considerable lengths to live up to your expectations.

Lead by example.

Practice what you teach or do not speak at all.
Walk your talk!
Be the change that you want to see in the world.
If you genuinely desire to inspire others to do something, then this something should be a significant portion of your life.
You do not have to be an expert in something, you just have to be passionately involved.

Articulate what everyone else is thinking.

We are closely connected to each other in various ways, the most salient of which is our thoughts.
Make people feel happy about their selves.
People would rarely remember what you did, but would always remember how you make them feel.

Start appreciating other people.

Take time to recognize and appreciate the people who have gone out of their way to transcend.
You make people what they should be by treating people as if they are already what they possibly could be.

Help people heal.

Instead of judging people by their past, walk with them and help fix their future.
In life, you reap what you sow.
Make a positive impact in someone else’s life to get a positive impact in your own life.
Do something that is greater than you.

Help someone else to be happy or to suffer less.

Everyone values the gift of unexpected help.
Share lessons from your successes and failures.

Be a resource whenever you can.

If you know something, don’t hoard it, share it.
You have so much that you could share than you realize.
Dig the rich experiences of your heart and share your wisdom from your own point of view.
Be open.
Share your failures, as well as your successes.
Let people relate to you.
Help them realize that they are not the only ones with challenges.

Keep your calmness in difficult situations.

What you do in a stressful situation tells a lot about your limits.
People take note of how far the load or social distress around you goes until you lose control of yourself and the environment.
Keeping your composure in stressful situations lets people know you have a sense of steel – a personality trait most people are drawn to.
Focus on the positive.
Be happy with what you are.
Allow your confidence to fuel your journey into tomorrow.
Everything that happens in your life could be beneficial or detrimental depending on your perspective.
Things will always end up the way it will, no matter how you see it, choose to succeed or learn something.
Be optimistic.
Appreciate the lovely outcomes, and learn from the rest.
It will help persuade everyone around you.

Keep your promise and tell the truth.

Inspire people by being faithful and committed to the truth.
When you say you are going to do something, DO IT!
When you say you are going to be somewhere, BE THERE!
If you say you think something, MEAN IT!
If you cannot, would not, and do not, DO NOT LIE.
It is always best to tell the truth.

Listen attentively to what others say.

Make people feel significant.
Encourage them by treating them higher.
Find time to listen to others.
People will respect you for that.

Communicate clearly.

Share your joy and ideas with everyone around you.
Maintain eye contact when communicating. It is one of the most desirable forms of personal communication. Eye contact injects closeness into human interaction, which captivates attention.

Be a trustworthy person.

Nothing is more influential than love and commitment between two people.
Your reliability in a long-term intimate relationship creates a solid foundation for everything else that you do.

Everything you need to encourage everyone around you is contained within you.
Start inspiring people with what you are and how you live your life.

God will Guide You

Trisha Sebastian with Jaki Llona in The Beach House Batangas
God will Guide you
In Psalm 25, we could learn how David searched for God's will.

Do you think that God will help you through life?
What you know about God is the most valuable thing about you. God have plans for us, and the Bible tell us that God will help us know His way.

Recall a time that you are sure that the Lord guided you in making a decision. How did God's guidance come to you? What has been the outcome so far? Read Psalm 25.

What indications do you see that David fully expected the Lord to guide him?

How would you describe David's position before the lord?

In order for people, to receive the Lord's counsel what conditions did David considered necessary? (Psalm 25:9-14)
It is necessary to be humble for God to show what is right and and teach his way.
God will instruct those who fear the Lord in the ways they should choose.
The Lord confides in those who fear him and makes his covenant known to them.

David acknowledged his own failings and asked for forgiveness based on God's love.

Besides his own personal sin, David faced external conflict and problems(Psalm 25:2-3:16-20) yet he expected to know God’s guidance through it all.

What are the qualities of God in His personal commitment?

What decisions do you think you most need God’s guidance?

In what decisions do you suspect or wonder whether God can or will help you?

Honestly voice out to God your faith or doubts in His guidance. Commit to God a decision that you need to make soon.

Illuminating Blogger Award

Illuminating Blogger Award
Illuminating Blogger Award

I was nominated for the “Illuminating Bloggers Award” by Paulette, at A Place of Worship: "Tugging at the Heartstrings of God".

I remember the first time I visited Paulette's blog, I already felt that she is a blogger after God's own heart. And though we have not seen each other yet, I already felt already at home in her blog as I could feel her love for God her desire to glorify God first and foremost. This first visit has led me to dwell in her blog for a long time.

I could personally say that Paulette's blog is itself illuminating, that I am overwhelmed with joy that she nominated me for the Illuminating Blogger Award. It takes one to know one, and I am flattered to be nominated by someone who has authority to know what illuminating is.

Paulette's Blog is the place to go to for uplifting reflections, prayers and even just for a godly conversation. She has unknowingly passed on God's love with her blog to her readers. She is certainly an inspiration.

Thank you so much Paulette for nominating me for this award. To God be all the Glory. Truly it is Him who causes all lovely things for those who love Him. I believe it is our love for Him who have caused our paths to cross. And there are no accidents in the lives of His children. Truly, it is only Him who have caused my blog to be nominated.

As I understand, the guidelines for accepting this award are:
  1. Share seven things about yourself.
  2. Link back to the person who nominated you.
  3. Place the award on your blog.
  4. Pass the award on to at least 5 bloggers.
Seven Things About Me:
  1. I am in the stage of discovering how God has been pursuing me all along in my life. And thought that He has been present with me all my life causes me an immense joy. His love for me is simply overwhelming.
  2. I love learning, and it is with immense wonder that I discovered how rich with wisdom the Bible is.
  3. I love fellowships and for me, there is nothing more enjoyable than doing things with God and for God.
  4. I am captured by Grace like an Avalanche, and it spurs me to share this love of God to those who have not yet precisely known Him.
  5. I am SAVED by Grace.  I am DEEPLY LOVED.
  6. It is with Intimacy with God through regular prayer and quiet time that I feel safe and secure. Without Him, I am nothing. HE is all I NEED.
  7. I still feel tempted, but God never allows me to be far away from Him. I am profoundly DISCIPLINED, PRUNED and this causes me immense pleasure. I am indubitably BLESSED!
It is with pure joy that I would pass on this award to the following spiritually-enlightened bloggers who I think share the same passion and love for God, as evidenced in their blogs.
