God's way of living usually contradicts the world's.

To live for God, we must be ready to say and do what seems strange to the world.

When others take, be willing to give.
When others hate, be willing to love.
When others abuse, be willing to help.

By giving up our own rights to serve others, we will one day receive what God has in store for us.

Always Been About You

Out here, the greatest love is bold
Out here, the greyest skies are gold
Out here, it's all laid on the line
Out here, you're always on my mind

And it's always been about love
It's always been about grace
It's always been about hope
And it's always been about faith
It's always been about peace
It's always been about truth
Everything that's ever been before
It's always been about you

Out here, we're running with the light
Out here, we're breaking up the night
Out here, the lost are coming home
Cause out here, no one goes alone

And it's always been about love
It's always been about grace
It's always been about hope
And it's always been about faith
It's always been about peace
It's always been about truth
Everything that's ever been before
It's always been about you

We will run for you
Always been about you
We will go for you
Always been about you
We will fight for you, you
We will run, we will run
We will go, we will go
We will fight, oh we will fight
With everything, oh with everything

And it's always been about love
It's always been about grace
It's always been about hope
And it's always been about faith
It's always been about peace
It's always been about truth
Everything that's ever been before

And it's always been about love
It's always been about grace
It's always been about hope
And it's always been about faith
It's always been about peace
It's always been about truth
Everything that's ever been before

It's always been about you.

Real Freedom

True Life = True Freedom
Remove the F from Life and it becomes = Lie.
Lies = False Freedom

Paradigm of this World: Do what I want, where I want... when I want.

This is false freedom... and this could lead you to Slavery. This kind of freedom bites you in the back.

We are free to choose the course of action we would take, but we are not free to choose the consequences that go with them.

With Great Power comes great responsibility.

Choose well, Live well.

Choose poorly, Live poorly.

“When you choose an action, you choose the consequences of that action.
When you desire a consequence you had damned well better take the action that would create it.”
― Lois McMaster BujoldMemory

To Jesus, the Lover of My Soul

You have set me free

You're all that I seek
Your love completes my life
You're the air that I breathe
You are the reason that I am living...

And I will lift my voice to the one who has saved me

And I'll cry out for more saying, Lord I need You
I will reach out
I'm reaching for more of You in my heart

And I will wait on You

In the stillness Lord
Listening for Your voice
Pure as gold refined
In Your presence Lord here where I belong

A Woman's Worth

The Wife of Noble Character

A wife of noble character who can find?

She is worth far more than rubies.
Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family
and portions for her female servants.
She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.
She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
When it snows, she has no fear for her household;

A Woman's Worth

Worth is defined by the eye of the beholder.

Worth can be debated or overlooked.

When a woman crosses puberty, something changes in her emotionally and mentally.

A woman will view her self-worth in three things:

1. How she views herself

2. How others view her
3. How God views you

Satan created a strategy for a woman to lose her worth.
Satan will try to remove out of the equation how God views you...

And once it happens, the woman will try to pursue a life that will try to validate herself

A woman who is worth everything is worth everything to God - no matter what happened in your life. A Woman's worth is defined by her relationship with God.

A woman will only be developed by God alone.

Are you defining yourself in anything and everything?

Then you will be part of the statistics of Woman in and out of scandals, in and out of situations and in and out of relationships... deteriorating... living a life bitter and bruised...

You are pursued by a loving God...
You don't have to find Him...because He found you...
God pursues you... that's where your significance comes from...

God can develop your worth... but one thing that you have to do is to TRUST Him.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him,

    and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6

A Proverbs 31 woman is not a perfect woman... who is exuding from her perfection.. but a woman who is anchored in God. Her call, beauty and perfection is based on what He did and who He is.

May you find your significance and worth in God... Trust that He can make you whole...

This is scary: You can tame a tiger, but you can't tame a tongue - it's never been done. The tongue runs wild, a wanton killer. With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the same tongues we curse the very men and women he made in his image.

Curses and blessings out of the same mouth! A spring doesn't gush fresh water one day and brackish the next, does it?

Apple trees don't bear strawberries, do they? Raspberry bushes don't bear apples, do they? You're not going to dip into a polluted mud hole and get a cup of clear, cool water, are you?

Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here's what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It's the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts.

Mean-spirited ambition isn't wisdom. Boasting that you are wise isn't wisdom. Twisting the truth to make yourselves sound wise isn't wisdom. It's the furthest thing from wisdom - it's animal cunning, devilish conniving.

Whenever you're trying to look better than others or get the better of others, things fall apart and everyone ends up at the others' throats.

Real wisdom, God's wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others.

It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced.

James 3:7-17

Roadtrip with Albear

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent.
To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden,
where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.

― Milan Kundera

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
 blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
 for those who fear him lack nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry,
 but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Come, my children, listen to me;
 I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Psalm 34:8-11
