How to Deal with Gossips
“Strong minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, weak minds discuss people.”
The people who are talking trash about you won't be in your life in the future, nor will they help you get there. If you figure out your friend is talking behind your back, then maybe they aren't really a friend after all.
Build the relationship, or cut it off, depending on how serious it is.
People who talk about others will talk about you.
People who don't have anything better to do than talk trash about someone, have low self-esteem. You do not need this kind of people in your life. Life is too short to spend with people who suck the happiness out of you.
Speak the Truth in Love
Sometimes, speaking the truth in love means losing friends.Your real friends will stick with you.
Confront the Gossip.
Choose your battles.
Some relationships are worth keeping, but some relationships are unhealthy.
Be Friendly to Everyone but Choose your Best friend wisely.
Surround yourself with amazing people!
FORGIVE.
Treat this person like anybody else. The words that come out of their mouths just shows what kind of person the gossip is. It has nothing to do with you.
It is better to give forgiveness than to need forgiveness. Treat it as an opportunity for you to strengthen your skill in patience. See it as a great opportunity and blessing to be that steward of Christ to give that mercy, grace and unconditional love.
